Introspection

IS 101 has definitely changed from when I first took it a couple of years ago. Even though I withdrew from the class two weeks after, I can still tell the difference. Professor Wu is definitely more engage with the students and we are learning more then just informational systems. This class definitely requires a lot of work and commitment, which is something we are learning here in class that we can apply to our life's.

Thank you for recognizing my engagement with students ^_^

  6. Yea, the teacher really likes to engage with people, but he really puts the pressure on you to finish the work.

  7. I'm glad to hear IS101 has evolved.

Throughout the pandemic, one major mistake a lot of universities have made it is to put off fundamentally reshaping curricula in the midst of a pandemic, hoping that things will just go back to "normal" the following semester.

UNLV has done this for two years. Every semester, they wait until three or four days before the semester's start to shift back to remote instruction, when they should've just from the outset embraced the idea of change, and made sincere efforts to adapt courses and the way information is delivered in the new environment. Not doing so has drastically hurt the quality of education.

Courses adapting to change in the real word is really important.

  10. I think a strong foundation of work ethics and commitment are underrated! ITs really amazing how much you can accomplish once you've master both of that.

  12. I feel like I am in the middle of space sometimes...all these new information. It is like learning a new language. I like the challenge though and I enjoy learning the materials.
